Kura shot Kaz a direct look, no hint of emotion in her expression at all. "Truth is absolute," she said, her voice soft. "Desire, perception, open-mindedness... they colour how one sees the truth. They do not change what truth is. To uncover absolute truth, one would need input from all who observed an event, as well as the willingness to consider other points of view." Deep thoughts, and a relatively long speech from Kura. Too long for comfort, really.
The Council chamber took Kura's breath away, if only for a moment. Soon, her attention was caught by the droid that had situated itself on the far side of the circle of chairs, almost as though it was lying in wait, and had made some sort of plans for their arrival.
And maybe it had.
After all, it must have had some sort of programming on how to deal with intruders, and only time would tell whether or not it would be able to recognise she and Kaz as Jedi - friends, and not foe.
Flashing a quick, sharp look at her partner's joke, Kura stood stock still, listening to the words coming from the droid. She didn't move a muscle, standing strong and tall and proud as they were addressed. "We do not seek rights to your circuits," she called, her face serious. "We are Knights of the Jedi Order. We wish you no harm."
